No Aspie Rants since 2012

I haven’t ranted since 2012! No Aspie Rants! lol Well, actually since December when things went so horribly wrong for a specific town, and ultimately the World! I stayed silent while I watched in horror, and ultimate disbelief at the ignorance as to what Autism/Asperger’s even is. And, it certainly isn’t some random crazy person that obviously has psychological issues. Autism/Asperger’s is not mental! It is neurological. Come on people, we are so smarter than jumping to conclusions, right? Ridiculous. 

And, if we are ever going to get anywhere in the name of Autism, every community has to work together. The psychological, medical, and educational community can NOT all be at odds with each other. That is why there is so much misinformation out there.  

It is a new year, and we are on to new things! We have so many exciting things for 2013.

We did finally get an Elf on the Shelf. The kids think it’s creepy, are too old for it anyway, but I wanted it anyway. I think it’s adorable, and named him Sir Steve. You should hear his rants! lol I would like to get a girl elf too. We have had fun talking in a silly voice, and having a good laugh with it. I seriously don’t understand how a silly doll can be so controversial!

Do you have any goals or Resolutions for 2013? We plan on being more active advocating for Non-Profits.
